The Community Economic Development Association of Michigan (CEDAM) is the statewide trade association for community economic development organizations, practitioners and supporters. In addition, CEDAM hosts several specific statewide initiatives. As Special Projects Coordinator I manage three of these: the Microenterprise Network of Michigan, the Michigan Rural Council and the Michigan Vacant Property Campaign. In this role, I facilitate the work of our local and statewide members through training and education, research and information, events, community awareness and policy advocacy related to microbusiness and entrepreneurship, rural development and vacant property issues in Michigan.
