Successful moderate-sized East Lansing, MI marketing and communications agency with good client mix and collaborative, fun work atmosphere seeks full- time front end web developer who is detail-oriented with strong design sensibilities. Will work closely with creative team and account executives to develop sites for clients in a variety of fields. 3-4 years experience required.

REQUIREMENTS include:
• Ability to create valid HTML/CSS markup while keeping web accessibility in mind.
• An eye for design and detail with ability to take PhotoShop mockups and translate them accurately to the web across multiple browsers.
• Knowledge of JavaScript libraries (particularly jQuery) and desire to push designs to the next level using JavaScript.
• Knowledge or willingness to learn content management systems (WordPress, MODx, ExpressionEngine) and build completely custom CMS themes.
• Ability to meet deadlines and estimate time to accomplish tasks.
• Ability to communicate with clients having various levels of web literacy and be comfortable discussing projects with small- to medium-sized teams.
• Be able to assist in creating estimates based on project requirements.
