The Procurement Intern will have the opportunity to be a part of a wide variety of procurement activities. The Intern will assist buyers to:
-Create contract request forms
-Design new service provider evaluation tool
-Track order confirmation
-Send out supplier packets
-Organize new training manual
-Track equipment service plan agreements
-Track expiring contract
-Track Past due report
-Consolidate service contract for equipments
-Gather quotes for spare parts
-Scan and file MRB form packets

Education, Experience, and Skills
-Current 4-year college student at their junior or senior level, enrolled in a Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related program.
-Ability to communicate with all procurement buyers as well as suppliers
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Strong analytical and reporting skills
-Ability to work in self-managed and team environments
-Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint preferred.
-SAP experience beneficial but not required.
Physical/Mental Requirements
-Type/keyboard, stand, walk, sit, use phone, fax, copier, and computer, organize, analyze, problem-solve, make decisions, plan, communicate, prepare written communications, prepare transaction documents.
