Key Responsibilities:
-Provide administrative and functional support to Director, Quality Control and management staff as well the Director of Validation and management staff. 
-Enter Purchase Requisitions into SAP for all Quality Control and Validation groups as needed.
-Schedule candidate interviews and travel arrangements for QC and Validation candidates
-Control office supply inventory and coordinate office equipment purchases and repairs, as needed.
-Coordinate travel arrangements and seminar/training registrations for Quality Control and Validation staff.
-Coordinate annual Records Retention process for Quality Control and Validation groups.
-Coordinate and oversee meetings; to include refreshments, participant and room scheduling, and material preparation.
-Manage Quality Control and Validation P-Card.
-Generate and process unit’s Expense Reports.
-Complete Fixed Asset Quarterly Impairment Review form and Quarter End Service Accrual Questionnaire.
-Serve as back-up to other administrative assistants when needed.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and SKILLS
-High School Diploma or GED required.
-Associates Degree and/or a combination of education and experience in business administration or quality field, preferred.
Experience:
-Seven years experience performing a variety of specialized administrative and office support functions.
-Experience coordinating programs both internally and externally; exercising professional judgment and confidentiality to complete the day-to-day tasks necessary to keep the department running smoothly.
Skills:
-Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and SAP.
-Proficient in typing, spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
-Possess good customer service and interpersonal skills; tactful in dealing with others.
-Able to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
-Able to listen to and understand information and ideas presented verbally.
-Able to communicate information and ideas, verbally or in writing, so others will understand.
-Able to use discretion, good judgment, initiative and to work independently to complete day to day responsibilities and complete complex tasks.
-Proficient in use of general office equipment; copier, scanner, and fax.
-Able to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
-Adaptable and versatile.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
Type/keyboard, visual acuity, good eye/hand coordination, stand, walk, sit, twist/turn, climb, reach outward, reach above shoulder, hand dexterity, bend, squat/kneel, sense of feel, sense of hearing, sense of smell,  lift/carry 50 lbs, and pull 50 lbs.  Use phone, fax, copier, and computer.  Use hand tools. Organize/coordinate, analyze/interpret, calibrate precise measurements, problem solve, make decisions, supervise, plan, communicate, prepare written communications, and prepare transaction documents. Work outdoors, around noise above conversation level, in hot/cold temperatures, in high humidity, where ventilation is needed, in multiple locations, with restricted access to laboratory, in contact with Select Agents, and with exposure to animals, animal areas, or equipment used in animal areas.
