King Media is seeking a talented Graphic Design Intern to join our dynamic team that is passionate about creating innovative and creative solutions for our clients. Based out of East Lansing, Michigan, King Media works in a range of mediums, including print, television, radio, web and social media.

Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and excel working in team situations as well as independently. Our ideal designer will have a diverse creative style, capable of producing designs suitable for our wide range of clients. Attention to detail, exceptional time management skills, a dedicated work ethic and respect for a collaborative creative process are required.A graphic design internship at King Media will require the candidate to execute projects alongside our full-time designer. The candidate should be prepared to execute real projects for our clients. This is a great opportunity and will allow the candidate gather experience and real project samples to add to their portfolio.

Summer internships are available now! Depending on the candidate's performance, there is also the opportunity for a paid position after the duration of the internship.

Rizzi Designs is looking for a few good interns for the summer term. We are hiring interns in communications, public relations, web design/programming, marketing, advertising, and/or graphic design. Qualified applicants will be juniors or seniors in a related major, and be available for 16 hours per week.

Description:
The photography position consists of assisting our Caucus photographer with setting appointments, editing and providing light camera shooting. Interns also may work on other areas of public relations when needed, including video production and writing. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and digital photography are a plus. Please provide portfolio and/or clips.

Requirements:
Intern responsibilities vary greatly and range from assisting with administrative and office duties to advancing press conferences and researching house district profiles.  The goal is to obtain work experiences related to your career interests.
 
An intern is a reflection of the office.  We are looking for interns who are professional in demeanor and decorum.  A willingness to work hard, be punctual and dependable are a must.  Strong computer skills are helpful but not necessary.  Classes may be provided to assist with further office related computer learning.  An interest in state-wide politics and the legislative process are preferred for political positions.

• Experience using a Content Management System is a plus

As a Marketing Video Production Intern at TechSmith, you will have a chance to work on a wide variety of projects that span across multiple departments. Showcase your creativity as well as build your personal portfolio in a fun and exciting environment.

Responsibilities:

• Record, edit, and produce marketing and other types of videos
• Responsible for video, audio, and photographic support throughout marketing, and other departments as needed to support TechSmith and its products
• Assist with implementing, monitoring and optimizing marketing video campaigns in a timely and accurate manner
• Assist with troubleshooting all marketing video campaigns as they go live and when errors arise
• Communicate project details with stakeholders and other team members
• Collaborate with marketing video producers, writers, product managers, and other stakeholders to meet goals and optimize campaign performance

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in video and digital media production
• Working knowledge of current digital video, audio, and graphic software tools (Camtasia Studio, Adobe Premiere, Apple Final Cut Pro, Adobe After-Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Audacity, etc.)
• Experience using video production hardware (digital video cameras, microphones, lights, etc.)
• Current knowledge of Web-based digital media concepts (compression technologies, aspect ratios, file formats, etc.)
• Must have attention to detail, ability to work autonomously within a larger team, and excellent organizational skills
• Need to work well independently and in groups, inside and outside of the department
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
• Must be able to learn new software quickly
• Customer service focus with “can do” attitude
• You must be enrolled in classes full time in order to be considered for an internship with TechSmith Corporation
• You must be legally authorized to work in the United States
