Position Summary
Self-directed and dynamic individual interested in learning about communications in a business incubator and government environment. Primary responsibilities include writing for internal and external audiences, as well as working on a variety of short-term communications projects. Journalism or Communications degree preferred.

This is a part-time temporary position for the summer of 2012 only. It includes a commitment of 15 hours a week at a pay of $7.25 an hour. The internship will begin the week of May 7, 2012 and end the week of July 30, 2012.

Principal Accountability
· Organize, gather and analyze information for a variety of projects.

The Japanese Market Research Intern will be responsible for monitoring technology and industry trends, product feedback and competitive landscape information relevant to TechSmith. The candidate must be able to effectively analyze, summarize and communicate this information back to TechSmith so that strategic decisions can be made regarding product positioning, messaging, and target markets in Japan.
