Community Engagement / Research Internships: Jobs Available

Description:
Field research interns assist the field staff by researching key issues in house districts as well as updating and developing district profiles. Interns regularly meet with and collect information from Representatives and their staff, update the district database and assist with pinpointing press event locations and press event attendees.

Requirements:
Intern responsibilities vary greatly and range from assisting with administrative and office duties to advancing press conferences and researching house district profiles.  The goal is to obtain work experiences related to your career interests.
 
An intern is a reflection of the office.  We are looking for interns who are professional in demeanor and decorum.  A willingness to work hard, be punctual and dependable are a must.  Strong computer skills are helpful but not necessary.  Classes may be provided to assist with further office related computer learning.  An interest in state-wide politics and the legislative process are preferred for political positions.
