This position serves as a staff accountant in Treasury's Finance and Accounting Division regarding statewide accounting systems, reports, and the year-end book closing process. Provides assistance in analyzing accounting problems, using knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), theories, and their practical application.

This position is responsible for maintaining the Payroll Database used by Financial Services accounting staff, developing and monitoring DTMB automated R*STARS interfaces, developing and maintaining financial databases for Financial Services and DTMB and preparing ad hoc reports and queries for the Office director, Division director, program managers, and the budget analyst, as requested.
