 Responsibilities would include working with financial advisors, attorneys and other CPA’s to develop a financial plan for our clients. Tax planning and knowledge of the current tax changes is essential for success in this position. We have a 1 year contract opportunity for an IT Tech to support production at a manufacturing plant on second shift (4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. M-F) in Holt, MI. The primary duties are listed below:

Support production in reducing / eliminating equipment and tooling downtime or scrap utilizing good analytical methodologies.
Maintain and enhance production broadcast systems, error-proofing systems, printers and customer interface / communication (hardware & software)
Maintain back up hardware and software for production based broadcast systems, error-proofing systems, printers and customer interface / communication (spare parts).
Support departmental projects, VA/VE and/or Six Sigma activities.
Develop and maintain production / broadcast system instructions and /or disaster recovery records (hardware & software)
Document all activities as required.
Qualified candidates will have the minimum requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent with 1 to 2 year minimum college education
Minimum 2 - 4 years related experience in manufacturing and assembly operationsProficient in Microsoft applications, such as: (Windows NT, 2000, 98,SQL Server, Office, Crystal Reports, TCP / IP, Printers, and RF, Switches, Routers & Raid)
Proficient in Active Directory, MS Server 2003/2008, MS SQL 2000/2005, Cisco wireless access points, Barcode scanner and printer setup.
Possess excellent leadership abilities, organizational and communication skills.
Able to maintain confidential information.
Must be able to pass online test for:
SQL Server 2005 DBA Test;
Microsoft Windows 2003 Server Admin,
Call Center Technical Support and
A+ Test.

The Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB) project at Michigan State University (MSU), an in-development Department of Energy Office of Science (DOE-SC) national user facility, is searching for a Communications Manager to join the FRIB Project Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to get in on the ground floor of an emerging DOE-SC national user facility. Reporting jointly to the Project Manager and Senior Communications Strategist, the successful candidate will have an exceptional opportunity for career growth while developing the communications strategy for the project, building a team to execute a full array of verbal and visual communications tactics, and positioning us among the network of national user facilities and the nuclear physics community worldwide as a premier DOE User Facility.

Major Position Responsibilities
External Communications
Responsible for developing and implementing strategic integrated communications plans.
Develop and direct execution of media relations strategies.
Manage contracting and activities of agency vendors, when required.
Determine response to routine media and public inquiries and requests for information, and arrange delivery of response in a timely manner.
Maintain collaborative relationships with MSU media relations, creative services, government relations and other units to ensure alignment and accuracy of communications about the project.
Lead MSU representatives and internal spokespeople in translating technical project information into form, format, and methods appropriate to intended audiences and communications needs.
Identify and develop engaging and effective stories for the project to publish directly on the web and through the University, place with media, share through case studies, use internally, and so on.
Interface with regularly with University external relations units, administrators, and community leaders and other University internal and external stakeholders to inform, build good will, and engage support.
Develop and maintain industry-specific media and analysts lists.
Build an ongoing, appropriate strategy for web and social media communications.
Contribute to the ongoing development and advancement of a brand strategy for the project.
Internal Communications

Responsible for managing the planning, design, and execution of internal communications, both for project communications to the science community and for advancing the project’s internal engagement with employees, partners, and users.
Oversee production of internal communication deliverables, some of which require quick response, quick turnaround in a rapidly.
Develop and manage execution of communication strategies and plans for individual unit as well as organization-wide projects.
Provide the writing, editing, and design of communications products working with internal content experts and communications staff.
Participate, advise, and manage the creation and execution of organizational performance advancement communication initiatives.
Oversee strategic direction and content for organization internal communications website,  other intranet sites, and other internal digital communication channels.
Create opportunities for internal team feedback to foster continued open communication between employees and management.
Coach Directors and Managers on effective communication strategies for their media availabilities, presentations, and other opportunities to present the project’s story.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications or related field.
Eight to ten years of related and progressively more responsible work experience in integrated communications practice, including representing technical information to both industry and public audiences.
Scientific writing experience.
Experience in required technologies for managing and executing multi-platform integrated marketing communications plans: word processing; desktop publishing; web design, development, and maintenance; presentation graphics, photography and video capture, editing, and distribution.
Ability to work with export controls materials.
