Spartan Internet Entrepreneur Gets Lansing Business Pub Award

One of Mid-Michigan’s most celebrated high-tech entrepreneurs was recognized by the Great Lansing Business Monthly as the Internet Services Entrepreneur of the Year.

Spartan Internet owner,Ryan Vartoogian, was recognized for continuing to growthe Internet consulting company he started in 1997, when he was asophomore at Michigan State University (MSU).

The Greater Lansing Business Monthly celebratesentrepreneurs that are successful and supportive of the community.Vartoogian has long been a supporter of the greater Lansing area, andhe recently announced plans to invest roughly $2 million in the old Holmes Street School, which he will turn into a tech center.

“In the long term, if you’re not involved in the community then your business will suffer as a result,” Vartoogian says.

The impact a company can have on training and job preparation in a small community is significant, he says.
