Editor's Pick: Downtown East Lansing's Inaugural Winter Glow

The Inaugural Winter Glow is going down this Saturday, Dec. 3, with winter activities taking place from 3-6 p.m. and a special lighting of luminaries throughout the downtown area at 5 p.m.

You can expect yearly downtown winter activities like ice carving, a reindeer petting zoo, photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, horse and carriage rides, a kid’s winter carnival, marshmallow roasting, merchant activities, roasted chestnuts, hot chocolate and more. Some of the new activities will include the aforementioned lighting of luminaries, a music tent, an outdoor movie, “East Lansing’s Favorite Things” gift guide and a holiday farmer's market.

A great way to welcome the arrival of snow this week ... whether you're excited about, or not!
