We’ve all heard about the green buildings going up in Lansing, East Lansing and surrounding areas. Some of them have earned Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) designations, others have added environmentally components to otherwise energy inefficient buildings.
This winter, Lansing's Gene Townsend put his energy into building a new single-family home in Lansing's Old Town, delivering the area's first gold LEED residential home.
