Capital Gains Speaker Series: The Growth of Niche Networking Groups

The Capital region is burgeoning with professionals, ranging from the tech-focused to the artistically inclined. It is also a place where one can easily integrate into its working and social culture through the abundance of networking groups with a niche focus in the area.

So, why are there so many niche networking groups around here? What does it say about the diversity of our region, or the dissonance of their sheer existence. Well, we're going to talk about it this month, at the Capital Gains Speaker Series!

Join us on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 6 p.m. at Message Makers in Old Town (1217 Turner St., Lansing) to listen as some of the many area niche networking groups hash it out over popcorn and live music.

Panelists include a mesh of networking groups, old and new:
Tom Ruis - Grand River Connection
Holly Nickel - MINGLE: Minorities Involved in Networking Growth Leadership & Empowerment
Jessy Harger - Mid-Michigan Creative Alliance
Kat Cooper: Lansing Happy Hour Club
Rebecca Eldridge - Market Lansing
Lauren Leeds - Lansing Jaycees
Lisa Nowak - MITN: Michigan Technology Network

So if you've been meaning to network with any of these organizations, here's your chance to see them all under one roof!

We'll be teaming up with MINGLE's second ever event, and they have a raffle! So be sure to sign up and RSVP for this to enter!
