Floor Plans Finalized for Proposed $22.5 Million Capitol Club Towers

The floor plans for Downtown Lansing’s next large, mixed use loft development have been finalized.

Designs for the Capitol Club Towers, planned for the corner of Grand Avenue in Downtown Lansing near the Michigan Department of Human Services (DHS) building, is a $22.5 million project that includes penthouses, condos and lofts.

“We’re hopeful to break ground in the next sixth months, but it could be longer,” says Emily Lott, the lead saleswoman on the project. “Our goal is to deliver the building by mid-2010.”

The third floor will have small offices and suites. These units can feature Murphy beds for commuting business owners and their colleagues.

The top three floors will include several 1,997 square foot to 2,903 square foot penthouses with large patios selling from $650,000 to $900,000. Floors seven through three include units that range from 500 square feet to 1,435 square feet and sell for $399,000 to $139,900.

The first two levels will include retail space and will likely include a gym.

“We’ve got restaurants and many other businesses interested,” she says. “We feel very confident that even with the way the market is, when we do the ground-breaking, people will come out of the woodwork and what hasn’t sold will sell out very quickly.”
