“The owners wanted to give people in the area a good, safe dog park to go to,” says Joey’s Pet Outfitters’ Chloe Hinder.
The large dog park has been underway since the business opened six years ago. The area officially celebrated the opening of its membership program in June. Patrons may purchase annual, monthly or daily memberships. Members are required to show proof of vaccination before entering the park.

As the dog park has slowly developed, so has the staff of Joey’s Pet Outfitters. Over the last two years, the business has grown from four to six employees.
