Old Town welcomes eclectic new 1,200 sq ft shop named Love, Betti

Due for a soft opening on Feb. 4 on the corner of Grand River and Washington in Old Town, Love, Betti is the kind of eclectic place you could go to enjoy art, find classic antiques, home furnishings or even a purse and some jewelry.

“I have always wanted to open a gallery/antique/second-hand store, and the timing is finally right,” says Kristin Olson, owner of Love, Betti.

“Ever since I can remember, I've re-purposed items," she says, and "all my life I have enjoyed surrounding myself with interesting objects that had a life before they showed up in mine.

For Mid-Century Modern furniture lovers, Love, Betti currently has a Heywood-Wakefield dining table and chairs in mint condition and a beautiful Kroehler buffet.  For those who appreciate contemporary furniture, The store also has a fantastic Gamma Arredamenti leather sectional.

The jewelry "varies from vintage to beautiful, handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces," says Olson. "I recently met an artist in Kauai and will have some of her wonderful rings and necklaces available by mid-February.”
