Managing Editor:

Suban openly suffers from a serious case of wanderlust. A seasoned traveler, she has called four of the world's seven continents "home" in her lifetime. Now, she happily resides in Lansing's Moores Park Neighborhood where she shares a home with her husband and son, and a hermit crab named "Hermes."

Suban began her reporting beat working for a music magazine, BMA Mag, in her Australian hometown, interviewing the likes of Comedian Margaret Cho and the Buena Vista Social Club. After moving to Lansing, she worked as a freelance writer for the Lansing State Journal and fulltime as a communications professional.

A lover of all things local, you can find Suban frequenting many of Lansing's locally owned restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, museums and parks.

Managing Photographer:

It's hard to find someone in Lansing's professional crowd that hasn't been in front of Dave's camera lens. Dave's been taking photos in the Lansing area since 1987 and through his freelance photography business, Trumpie Photography, has developed a client list that includes the area's major PR firms, publications and businesses.

Dave's also captured Mohammad Ali, Senator Hilary Clinton, James Earl Jones and President George Bush on film. His photos have popped up in the Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, the Detroit News, the Detroit Free Press and USA Today. Dave's a Grand Ledge man, but he's snapped his way to Poland, Australia and the Hawaiian Islands.

Dave lives with his wife, Jen, in an 1890 farmhouse. Their children are Piglet and Sydney, an adopted cat and dog. When they can, they leave Piglet and Sydney at home and go to the state's West coast to play with Shooter, their sailboat.

Development News Editor:

When Ann isn't living on the edge curating her ever-burgeoning collection of salt and pepper shakers, she's photographing stuff that people step on and ignore for her Things Unnoticed Twitter feed: a photo micro-blog that boasts followers from art museums to semi-pro knitters. Her writing career has taken her from hospitality industry textbooks to jewelry descriptions to the beating heart of the domestic bus industry. Her short fiction has appeared in several regional magazines and she's covered Lansing business, non-profits and people for various publications for going on 25 years.

Ann lives with her daughter, husband and Lula the Somewhat Anxious but Fabulous Toy Fox Terrier in East Lansing, where they love the festivals, university campus,

and never being outside walking distance of any type of ethnic food.
